Welcome Back Everyone!
Come and join us this Saturday night to kick off the 3rd season of Catholic Underground CT. Join us with special guest TIM MARGIOTTA this month to get the season off to a great start! In this stressful, hectic world we live in, come and find peace in the Lord's presence and friendship with fellow Catholics. Please continue to spread the word about CU/CT to your friends. Last year we saw a record number of people and so many new faces each month! Let's bring in even more for the new season! There is such a hunger for Catholic fellowship among the young adults of Connecticut, and we're glad that so many have found it in Catholic Underground. Thank you to all of you who join us regularly and semi-regularly and make Catholic Underground CT such an awesome social atmosphere in the presence of the Lord. As always, we ask you to keep this ministry in your prayers. May God bless each of you! The Catholic Underground CT Team www.catholicundergroundct.com

The Evening Catholic Underground begins upstairs in the chapel with Eucharistic adoration. During this hour Vespers (Evening Prayer) is chanted, followed by a time of simple praise and meditation in the darkened church led by Catholic Underground/CT's music ministry, concluding with Solemn Benediction. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is also available during the holy hour. Next, everyone moves downstairs for the social part of the evening which includes refreshements in a coffeehouse atmosphere and music by our house band, and may include a performance by a regional Catholic artist. This is where we see a "New Evangelization" by modern artists who infuse Christianity into their art form. The performance may be any style of modern music, rap, poetry, drama, film, dancers, visual art, etc. The Atmosphere Catholic Underground is a place to meet people from all around the state in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere. But more importantly it's a place to meet the Lord, surrounded by a community of Christians who seek to live their faith. As a "cultural apostolate," Catholic Underground is intentionally geared toward young-adults and young-adult culture, but all ages are welcome. It is also a welcoming environment for non-Catholics or anyone who has been away from the church.
