St. Joseph Y.A.G. is geared toward individuals (single, married and religious) college age to 39 years old. Our main goal is to develop a deeper understanding of the Faith through the enrichment of our minds, hearts and souls in the presence of Christ, both in the Eucharist and in our neighbor. Join us for an evening of Adoration, meditation and benediction before the Blessed Sacrament, followed by a fellowship hour in the Parish Hall. The social hour includes brief presentations and discussion of various Faith topics, concluding with Night Prayer. YAG evenings will take place on the last Saturday of each month starting January 30th. Welcome Back Everyone!
Come and join us this Saturday night to kick off the 3rd season of Catholic Underground CT. Join us with special guest TIM MARGIOTTA this month to get the season off to a great start! In this stressful, hectic world we live in, come and find peace in the Lord's presence and friendship with fellow Catholics. Please continue to spread the word about CU/CT to your friends. Last year we saw a record number of people and so many new faces each month! Let's bring in even more for the new season! There is such a hunger for Catholic fellowship among the young adults of Connecticut, and we're glad that so many have found it in Catholic Underground. Thank you to all of you who join us regularly and semi-regularly and make Catholic Underground CT such an awesome social atmosphere in the presence of the Lord. As always, we ask you to keep this ministry in your prayers. May God bless each of you! The Catholic Underground CT Team www.catholicundergroundct.com

Bob Lesnefsky is Catholic Rap performer who does great work with Catholic youth. A graduate of Franciscan University at Steubenville in his early 30s, he performs and records music under the name "Righteous B," and he's been involved in a ton of youth conferences and programs across the country. Bob unexpectedly suffered a stroke on 9/19/2009 and is just beginning his recovery process as the doctors try to figure out what happened. His wife and family are requesting prayers for his recovery, and donations are also welcome as Bob is self-employed in his work in service to the Lord. He is beginning physical therapy and has a long road of recovery ahead. Up-to-date info can be found at http://www.prayfortheb.com/. |

Last Event Of The Season!!! Date/Time: Saturday May 16, 7:30PM Location: St. James Church, 896 Main St, Manchester. Website: www.CatholicUndergroundCT.com Admission: Free, with a free-will offering Come and join us this Saturday night for the last Catholic Underground CT event before we break for the summer! We're bringing you a special guest this month to help us close out an awesome second season!
SEAN FORREST will be with us Saturday night for a special benefit performance. Admission is free as always, but all proceeds from the free-will offering will go to support two special causes which are dear to Sean's heart: Mission Haiti and the Holy Apostles Chapel Project. Details are below.
If you haven't been around recently, you might not know about some of the recent developments at CU/CT. Thanks to your generosity (and a sweet hookup at Guitar Center) we've just acquired a new spotlight for Eucharistic Adoration and a new sound system for downstairs, so our house band and guest performances will sound better than ever. We see more new faces every month and it seems that we're now reaching clear across the state in every direction. Finally, although our monthly Saturday night events will be on hold until September, we may hold a midweek Bible Study/Teaching twice a month during the summer.
We hope you can be with us for this special event, as we bring the season to a close and usher in a warm summer break. Thank you to all of you who join us regularly and semi-regularly and make Catholic Underground CT such an awesome social atmosphere in the presence of the Lord. As always, we ask you to keep this ministry in your prayers.
May God bless each of you,
The Catholic Underground CT Team |
